On 5 October 2024, teachers from Fessenheim, Fortschwihr, Freiburg, and Breisach participated in the first part of the dance training at the Franco-German cultural centre, Art’Rhena.

Battery Dance Company in Breisach

On October 3, 2024, Jonathan Hollander, founder and artistic director of the Battery Dance Company, along with dance instructors Sarah Housepian and Zaki A’Jani, arrived in Breisach. Their visit was dedicated to preparing for the major German-French dance project, which commenced on October 5 with a dance workshop for teachers from participating schools in Alsace and Baden.

The Blue House Breisach is the sponsor of the ECC-funded project “Brücke für die Zufunft/Pont pour l’avenir”. The Blue House Breisach is the town’s former Jewish community center. Since 2003, it has been a memorial and educational center for the history of the Jews on the Upper Rhine.
